Challenges that I faced with my encounter was that when I first walked in everyone started getting off subject and concentrating on the camera. But then after I was there for a while they started not paying that much attention to me and just started doing their work. I was able to take a lot of good pictures of them doing their work and was able to capture real moments. There was a few problems because some of them would try to pose and get a picture of them smiling but what I did was I just put the camera down and got another picture of someone else showing emotion.
I was most concentrated of getting the focus right because at times I would try and get a picture far away and the people in front of me would be blurry so I had to focus the camera right so that way it would not be blurry. I also was thinking about a lot about my composition and the way I can position myself to show simplicity. By doing this I was trying to get close to the action so I can feel the emotion like when the teacher was speaking i was trying to get her hand motion and how she was showing the students information I was trying not to get anything to distracting and I was trying to fill the frame.
I was trying to use lines when I shot because in the room i was in the students were sitting in horizontal rows so i was trying to get the picture taken at the end of the row and get all the students working. Also the teacher was showing a film and what I was trying to do was get the students emotion towards the movie and by doing this I had to make sure i got the rows where they were sitting at.
